OH MY!!!!!



     Yesterday we, Shannon and my friends and fellow Mama's from Moms RUN This Town, (Seminole County) Ran the Base Camp 5k at UCF for Talia Joy!  It was an amazing and special Bonding time.  I was able to begin my day with my daughter, share the joy of Motherhood with her my special friends and spend the day bonding and plotting - LOL!!  After this wonderful 5k and special time, we went to have brunch and continued the bonding, laughing and fun.  After Brunch, Shannon and I went home, showered and went to checkout the local Fall Festival and partake in a Funnel Cake!  Don't judge!  It was good and we were still bonding - LOL

     It wasn't until tonight that I realized that OMG I have put on weight!  HOW could I have let this happen?  I run, walk and workout at the gym.  No not as often as I want but when you work 12 hour shifts ever other week, you tend to not have a lot of gym time.  I do however belong to a 24/5 gym so I really should have no excuse for not going but I never tend to want to go on work shift days unless it is the weekend when Planet Fitness is closed at 7 p.m. and I am getting off at 9 p.m.  WHAT TO DO!?!?!?  

     Well, I have to make the time!!!!!  I have put on weight - the above picture shows and proves it!  I never really thought about it when I weighed at the Dr. last week when I was sick and it said 157.2!  WHAT?!?!?!  I weigh 157.2 pounds?  That is soooo not possible!!!!  I have to correct this!  

     I also have realized that I HAVE GOT to get serious about some training.  My last entry was when there were 219 days to go before GOOFY!!!  Guess what, there are now 106 days to go and I don't feel any closer to being prepared to this than I was when I posted before!  WHY?  Because I haven't been serious!  Don't get me wrong, I have done some runs and some training but I haven't gotten into the right frame of mind for this yet!  This year alone I have done the following runs:

The Running Mad (5k) - My first with my MRTT Girls

Base Camp Run for Talia Joy (5k)
Plus some Fun Runs with Fit2Run in Orlando

Those were all in the past 4 months - so I guess I am running but NOT ENOUGH!!!!!  Why?  That is Eight (8) 5k's and Two (2) 10k's in the past Four Months!  So you are still asking yourself WHY I am saying that I am not running enough?!?!  Because I have the following runs to still go:

Those my dears go from 1 October 2013 through 26 January 2014!!!  YUP - That's another 17 in the next four (4) Months.  I NEED TO GET MOTIVATED!!!!

     Motivation shouldn't be that big of an issue.  I have BEN on my side and in my heart.  I Run 4 Ben.  I am fortunate enough to belong to an amazing family of Runners and Families who have special needs children and family members to run for.  I Run for Ben.  He is about to celebrate his 2nd birthday and such a joy to run for.  I will go more into Ben another time - 

     I am putting this out there because I have realized that I have gained weight and I do NOT like that!!!!  I have to get my mind set in the proper place and get going so be fore warned - you will be getting more updates on this.  I  have to make myself more accountable.
